Following ancient recipes from Central Thailand, Cha’s Organics has created a paste that allows you to enjoy a bowl of warming Tom Yum Soup in your own home. Fragrant Thai basil melts together with bold garlic and citrus notes in a delicate balance to create an authentic tasting broth. 

Tom Yum Soup has been commonly nicknamed ‘miracle soup’ due to its nutritious qualities. The broth contains a warming spice called galangal which is known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It also contains many vitamins such as vitamin A, B1, B2, B3. With no artificial flavours or GMOs, this soup is free from nasties and full of nutrients to nourish your body.

How Do I Prepare Tom Yum Soup?

  1. Heat 2 tbsp of oil on medium heat, stir in the Tom Yum herbs and paste, and sauté a minute.
  2. Add 1 to 2 cups of vegetables and some protein of your choice and cook for 5 minutes 
  3. Add 360ml of water or 400ml of coconut milk with 1½ cup of water for a creamier consistency. Simmer for 10 minutes or until all the ingredients are well cooked.
  4. Season to taste with salt and lime juice and serve with a garnish of fresh cilantro or Thai basil. Voila!
